About RK Acres Sanctuary
Our Background
Our mission is to provide a sanctuary for farm animals to be an individual and live out their lives in happiness. We provide care, protection, and compassion for our residents. RK Acres Sanctuary was established in 2021 and 27 animals call us home.
We are a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501c3 organization (tax ID number 86-1405911) located in Hollandale, MN. We rely on your generous donations and support to provide continuous care for our animals.
Meet the Team
Tasha Davis
Co-Founder, President
After being a life long vegetarian due to having a love for all animals, Tasha moved to a vegan diet in 2020. She does a majority of the daily farm care and spends individual time with the animals.
Steve Davis
Co-Founder, Vice President
Steve has been a vegetarian on and off throughout his life and is a proud vegetarian now. He does a majority of the maintenance around the sanctuary along with tending to the minor medical care that our animals need.
Rocky
Inspirational Advisor
Rocky is the reason the sanctuary exists. He loves basking in the sun and even though he enjoys being outside, he is generally not found with the sanctuary animals.
